Round Robin Notebook
For the second time I have joined a Round Robin Notebook. Unfortunately with the first round I never got my journal back. Hopefully I'm more lucky this time. For this round everybody has to make their own background. These are some of my pages I've made in my own journal. Most stamps that I've used are from Stampotique. For the backgrounds I used Dylusions in different ways. Except the cover, which is made with the Gelli Plate.

The Documented Life Project
I couldn't help myself... and joined the fun with The Documented Life Project ;-) This challenges gives you weekly prompts to work with. The idea was to use an agenda/calendar, but I made a journal myself with paper I had lying around. I bought some cool stuff at the Hema like the tabs and some tape. I want to use paper scraps on my pages, cause I hardly throw anything away and save my "failed" backgrounds or inky impressions of my templates. Hopefully the box will be less full at the end of the year ;-)
Prompt: Front door |
Prompt: Selfie |
Prompt: Envelope out your mailbox (there is art work of my son in it) |

Life Book
Little update of my Life Book adventures ;-)
These pages were made from bonus lessons, just short exercises from the Life Book teachers. Oh...We had to pick a word of the year and also a color palette. So that's why I use this word and colors a lot ;-) I also picked a symbol with it, and that's a feather.
First page was an affirmation page with Micki Wilde. She made us play with a grey background. At first I didn't like the idea, but after doing it, I really liked it :-) Dylusions is releasing new colors spray and definitely going to get the grey one :-) And the second page was more of a collage page with Kelly Hoernig.
You can still sign up!!! If you do, please use the link (Life Book Button) on my right side bar to support a crafty friend of mine, who is one of the teachers. And use her link to get to the Life Book page. That's how the teachers get a piece of the cake.

CAS Cards
Just made these CAS cards for friends who could need some support. Both are made with My Favorite Things Die-Namics Blueprints. On the first I used Dylusions spray for coloring the paper and on the second one I stamped the sentiment with Dylusions White Linen spray. This tip came from Dyan Reaveley she gave on the CHA. I saw it on a YouTube video, I wasn't there myself unfortunately ;-)
Stamps used:
Stampotique Sick Kitty
Kaisercraft sentiment

Face
I'm back with another drawing :-) I never thought I would enjoy this so much.
First I drew the face and colored it with Neo Color II. Then I sprayed Dylusions through a stencil on the rest of the page (I covered the face). With a wet brush I spread the Dylusions over the page and with a brayer I spread some white acrylic over it. At last I stamped with Journey Collage on the page.

Life Book
Time for something different on my blog :-) This year I'm following Life Book. I'm soooo excited what this journey will bring me. There are some great teachers this year. And you can still sign up!!! If you do, please use the link (Life Book Button) on my right side bar to support a crafty friend of mine, who is one of the teachers. And use her link to get to the Life Book page. That's how the teachers get a piece of the cake.
I posted this already on Facebook, but maybe not everybody here is following me there ;-) The first page was a warm up page. And the second, don't be scared, I had to draw a FACE. I know ;-) It's not perfect, but for a first try I'm really proud of myself. I used a piece from Tamare Laporte as inspiration.
