Second page I made after a blog hop organised by Art from the Heart. They celebrated there 10th year anniversary. I felt really inspired by seeing all the beautiful artwork with the Dylusions stamps, so I wanted to play with mine. Can't wait until the Craftorij (Dutch store) is going to sell the new stamps from Dylusions.

Superleuke pagina's weer!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Lovely pages and I love the swimming. Kim
ReplyDeleteJust stumbled onto your blog today - love your pages. Going back through your posts I notice you say you have found your style...can you/will you post a short tutorial writing out your style step at a time? I see you use the stencils/templates, but that is all I distinguish. Thanks for your posts.

Hi Lory, thank you for your comment. How I make my backgrounds is really easy actually. Most of the times I use for the first layer Glitz stamps with Archivel, for the second layer I use acrylics (two or three colors). I use a brayer to blend the colors a bit. The third and last layer for the background is the Ranger Color Wash spraying through the Crafters workshop templates. Most of the times i use two different colors and two different templates. That's how I create my backgrounds. Other elements that are part of my 'style' is the use of Stampotique stamps and Octopode Factory collage sheets. Hope that this was helpful. xoxo
