Stampotique Challenge: Triangle

Hump day!!! That means a new Stampotique challenge. Nellie is our hostess and says: I often like to incorporate geometric shapes in my cards, be it squares, circles, rectangles etc. So this week I challenge you to use such geometric shape in your card or project. But not just any shape you like. I has to be a TRIANGLE. Use just one or as many as you like.
I love banners, so I decided to make a small one for this challenge. I used Dylusions Spray, I love how you create a beautiful background with this spray in no effort. I sprayed the white trough a triangle template. I stamped some text with Distress Ink and colored the Tree Topper with Distress Markers.

Stampotique Challenge: Text All About It

A new challenge at Stampotique brought to you by your hostess Libby. She challenges us to use some sort of TEXT on our project.
No problem here, love to use text :-D For this tag I used Dylusions spray for the background and stamped some text with Distress Ink. Stamped Bird Lady on book paper and colored her with Distress Markers. Crow Line and some Washi for finishing touches. The sentiment is computer generated.

Smash Journal

I have started a Smash Journal in an A4 Sketchbook. I use my sprays and templates to create a background. In it I put photos that I printed for Project Life but didn't used. Ephemera and embellishments that are laying around my desk. Stamps that I love but don't use that much. Mail Art I have received. Or sketches I made. Just a place to save that stuff that didn't had a home and are loved :-)

Stampotique Challenge: Winter Whites

This week, Valerie challenges us to use various shades of winter whites in our projects - white, shimmer white, off-white, ecru, eggshell, etc. Here's what she said about this color choice, "Well, it wasn't planned, but this theme has a striking significance for those of us here on the East Coast who have just endured a big winter snow storm! All of nature is drooping under the weight of a heavy white winter blanket! Mother Nature really does provide the most beautiful inspiration!"

Oh no... no color!!! This was a real challenge for me. But I love challenges, it puts you out of your comfort zone and makes you try different things. For this card I used the TH Baroque Dies. The biggest Die Cut I embossed with the TH Retro Circles Embossing Folder. And on the smallest Die Cut I used Embossing Powder. I also used Distress Ink Antique Linen for stamping and distressing the edges. I have to be honest  I don't read French, so I have no idea if there are inappropriate words showing ;-)

Don't forget that I will draw a winner this week for my Valentine Giveaway! It's not to late to join ;-) click on the button on the right for the blogpost about the giveaway.

The Craftorij Challenge: Bling

Another Stampotique fanatic Coby, has started a Stampotique challenge on the forum of The Craftorij (Dutch  Scrapbook and Mixed Media store). The challenge this month is Bling. It was very challenging for me, I just don't do Bling often. Luckily I had some cheap rhinestones I once bought long time ago and Perfect Pearl Mist, so I was good to go ;-) I made this ATC with Dylusions spray, gold acrylic and Perfect Pearl Mist through a Crafters Workshop Template. Goat Monster was colored with Distress Markers.

Stampotique Challenge: Color of Love

Valentine is coming closer and our hostess Jenn wants to see the Colors of  Love - Red, Pink and White.
I made this card with the TH Die Vintage Cabinet, I sprayed it with Dylusions and stamped it with Stampotique. The sentiment is computer generated and it is a line from the book Guess How Much I Love  You (totally adorable book, read it a hundred times for my little boy).
And remember I'm doing a Valentine Giveaway :-D
