New pages

First page was inspired by the very talented Kate Crane, she used this topic in a art journal class. It's about the hats we wear in life, I made it a bit smaller, the hats I wear at home. So the first one is mother, the second one is wife and the third one is being the housekeeper ;-)

Moeder / vrouw / poets
Mother / wife / housekeeper
Het gras is altijd groener
The grass is always greener
Geduld
Patience
As you can see, I really found my style. I enjoy making my pages this way, but do you find it boring to see it over and over again?

Art Journal Pages

Two new pages. First one says in Dutch Together (love how you can put stuff in Karin's hand) and the second one says Dare to Feel with a image from Octopode Factory.

Samen = Together

Durf te voelen = Dare to feel

Stampotique Challenge: Altering a Book Page

It's been a while since I joined a Stampotique Challenge, but this one was right up my street. The Challenge was to alter a page in a book novel, journal, sketchbook, cookbook, musicbook, whatever!
This page was created yesterday in my Art Journal with my new Leeta stamp from Stampotique. The title is in Dutch and says "Headworries" (don't think it's a proper English word). I used a Glitz stamp, acrylics, Crafters Workshop templates, Ranger Color Wash and Glimmer Mist for the background. I colored Leeta with Distress Ink Pads Faded Jeans, broken China, Dusty Concord and Tattered Rose (unfortunately it`s hard to see).

Birthday cards, Stampotique and some new pages

For the first time I made some birthday cards, they where for the kids across the street. They where for twin boys who turned 11.

And finally they arrived, after a few months of waiting... my new Stampotique stamps. I'm so happy, I {heart} them already and can't wait to play with them.

Also made some new pages in my Art Journal. Stamps on the first page are from Dylusions (I feel a new addiction coming up hihihi) and the image on the second page is from Sabrina Zanetti.

Wat zullen we doen met de tuin = What to do with the garden
