Stampotique Challenge: Winter Whites

This week, Valerie challenges us to use various shades of winter whites in our projects - white, shimmer white, off-white, ecru, eggshell, etc. Here's what she said about this color choice, "Well, it wasn't planned, but this theme has a striking significance for those of us here on the East Coast who have just endured a big winter snow storm! All of nature is drooping under the weight of a heavy white winter blanket! Mother Nature really does provide the most beautiful inspiration!"

Oh no... no color!!! This was a real challenge for me. But I love challenges, it puts you out of your comfort zone and makes you try different things. For this card I used the TH Baroque Dies. The biggest Die Cut I embossed with the TH Retro Circles Embossing Folder. And on the smallest Die Cut I used Embossing Powder. I also used Distress Ink Antique Linen for stamping and distressing the edges. I have to be honest  I don't read French, so I have no idea if there are inappropriate words showing ;-)

    This is so cute Astrid, I really like how the Antique Linen looks against the white. This was a real challenge for me too, I want my colours back lol xx

    This is a very cool card Astrid, I love your layered baroque die-cuts, well done, and this lovely spiraling stamp adds a smooth look and texture !! (never seen yet). Don't worry about french words, it's perfect ! Same as you, very challenging challenge this week ah ah !! xx

    wat een schattig kaartje, leuk dat lijstje. Ik ben de hele dag al aan het ploeteren met deze uitdaging en weet na twee pogingen nog niet wat het moet gaan worden, enkel wit..........
