I used this design not so long ago, it's made with My Favorite Things Die-Namics, and loved it. So I used it again for a friends birthday card :-) I used Dylusions Funky Fuchsia, Vibrant Turquoise and Bubblegum Pink. I stamped with Archival Jet Black and Magenta Hue. I colored Bird Lady with Distress Markers. I sooo love to use this stamp on book paper :-) All the lovely stamps I used are from Stampotique.
Thanks for stopping by!
Really wonderful! I'm so happy you like my stamp enough to use it. I appreciate the support! Thank you.ReplyDelete
Sweet Astrid! Can you tell me what color you are using for the face??? I am struggling and resorting to using Crayola Crayons! I need help! I love this image and don't know what I have never ordered it. Love birds and have even been called Bird Lady by neighbor kids at my campground, as I feel the woodland birds all the time! Love your card today!ReplyDelete
Always happy to help Kay :-DDelete
I use Distress Markers to color my stamps. For the face I use Tattered Rose and for the cheeks Spun Sugar.
I always color the parts that I think are the darkest and spread the marker with a water pen to the rest of the face. Don't wait to long to water the Distress Marker, cause sometimes it gets to absorbed by the paper to spread properly. You have to find out how your paper reacts on the Distress Marker. For example bookpaper, it's super absorbent, so I color some Distress on my craftsheet and pick it up with my water pen.
Hope you find my answer usefull Kay :-D
I found your answer today, Astrid. Not sure why it didn't come through when you posted it. This is extremely helpful...I may even have these distress markers! Thanks so much!! ;-)Delete
